Voice for the Voiceless

Voice for the Voiceless

Everyone has a voice, but are we listening? ‘In our fast-paced, digital world, myriads of voices clamor for our attention. Advertising slogans seduce us into buying the latest gimmick. Politicians paint pictures of prosperity for our vote. Hollywood hypnotizes us with escapism. However, despite our increasing sophistication, we grow ever more deaf to those who cannot make a profit from their voice’. We want to change that and make way for voices to be heard – to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves.

One way of doing that is by engaging people to learn about and pray for the slew of injustices that exist in this world. I am currently working along side of Paul Childers(founder of photogenX) to create version 2 of the Voice for the Voiceless prayer booklet. Researching topics such as the orphan crises, forced labor and human trafficking is not easy and often leaves me feeling disheartened BUT I cling to the fight for hope and believe that change is possible.

This booklet has the ability to enable people to become aware, engage in prayer and pursue action.

So this is my project the next two months (in between being a mom of course). If you are interested in joining me and lending your writing and/or research skills please CONTACT ME! The task before me is monumental.
