Looking back at all the times we’ve attempted to pursue our dreams or start a new idea, we see that a big reason they faded away was because we stopped believing. It wasn’t immediate, but a slow fade with each hurdle and each unexpected life event. When life has it’s winter storms it’s easy to loose sight of belief – belief in ourselves, belief in our dreams and ideas, belief in our worth and ability. And when belief is gone, dreams and ideas slowly die.
But the paradox is that God created a world in which when there is death, there is also life.
And so what we thought was dead was merely dormant under winter’s blanket, preparing to grow into something new and stronger; more resilient and wise.
To all the dreamers who have lost a dream, take courage and don’t loose hope. You have something to give and it’s important.
