And they are right, life can sometimes be like a roller coaster. I’m sure you all can relate to those confusing hard times in life that make up this metaphor.

Volunteering with photogenX this past year has been one of those confusing hard times for us. We’ve been sent on some major downs and unexpected turns. What we were told to expect and what we thought this past year would look like thus did not exist. But none the less we tried our best to embrace the challenge and even though there have been some major hard times, we stayed positive. And hey, although not what we anticipated as far as traveling and working together as a family, Greg was able to serve and be a part of some amazing projects that are changing the world for good.

I’m sure someday when we’ve made it past this part of the ‘roller coaster’ we’ll look back and see how it all makes sense because that is what our God does. “He knows us far better than we know ourselves… That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.” (Romans 8:28 message) So we know this past year was not without purpose and see it as part of the adventure.

For now we are in need of your continued support and prayers. We are about to step into some big changes (exciting!) this coming year. An update with all the juicy details will be coming your way very soon. Till then any monetary donations and prayer support is much appreciated as we are still in need. Thank you and hope you are enjoying the ‘roller coaster of life’ as much as we are (can’t believe I just said that – cheesy sayings must come with age).

Sex+Money: A National Search for Human Worth is a documentary about domestic minor sex trafficking and the modern-day abolitionist movement fighting to it. We spent a couple days in Vermont and then shot down to Boston. They had some great turn outs for the film showings while also having a panel to answer questions about what is being done about sex trafficking in the United States.

But there is hope. A community is being built by Homes of Hope with the assistance of Terry Snow in the foothills outside of Saint Marc. Forty Eight homes, a marketplace, and a meat shop are all but finished. This will help the Haitians have a solid place to live, a market to sell goods, and a clean place to buy meat. Jobs are being created for them to also build homes. Haiti is a beautiful place, ravaged by generations of slavery and satanic practices. The community that has been built outside of Saint Marc, Haiti. Filming and interviewing a couple about to receive a new home since being in a tent for over a year after their home got demolished in the earthquake. Andrea Lambert, Craig McClurg, and Terry Snow.
